PetTrio Charity and Alexandre Contreras Inspire Future Veterinary Assistants at William H. Turner Technical Arts High School
Alexandre Contreras, founder of PetTrio Charity, recently had the privilege of speaking with over 70 students in the Veterinary Assistant Program at William H. Turner Technical Arts High School in Miami. Known for its strong focus on career and technical education, Turner Tech offers students hands-on training in various fields, including veterinary science, preparing them for real-world careers right after graduation.
During his visit, Alexandre shared his journey in the veterinary field, from his 20 years of experience to his work in pet innovation and animal welfare. He spoke about PetTrio’s mission to improve the lives of animals and support aspiring veterinary professionals, inspiring students to pursue their passion for animal care.
Beyond mentorship, PetTrio is also looking to assist the school with a much-needed renovation of its veterinary room. The goal is to upgrade the space with modern equipment and resources to enhance the students' learning experience. However, this ambitious project will require community support, including donations and partnerships, to make it a reality.
With the right support, this initiative will provide students with an improved learning environment, better preparing them for careers in veterinary medicine and animal care.
If you’re interested in contributing to this project and making a difference in the future of veterinary professionals, stay tuned for ways to help!
